Chando reside in New York City. Chando started her acting career at Manhattan College. Chando played the character of Maddie Coleman in the TV soap show As The World turns from 2005 to 2007 and, for a short period starting late 2009, she reprised the role. Alexandra made her debut in 2002 on House Blend in 2002 as Jenna Harper. After three years she played in the American soap opera on TV which was telecast in CBS, As the World Turns as Maddie Coleman. Chando was also a part of a documentary television series in the United States, True life, and appeared in Sherri. The actress starred in two episodes of the American television show drama-comedy Glory Daze. Her other television credits include Castle, Hindsight Dead People as well as Outcast.
