Chando lives within New York City. Chando went to Manhattan College and became an actor before. Chando was the very first Maddie Coleman of the television soap opera As World Turns. The character was played by Chando from 2005 to 2007 and then again, for several months towards the end of 2009. The first time she appeared on stage was her debut on the TV program House Blend, where she was Jenna Harper. As the World Turns on CBS was her first television part after three years. Chando starred in American documentaries True life and Sherri in 2009; she also appeared as Maddie Coleman in the show As the World Turns.
